Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join a public healthcare client in the West region. The role involves blood collection using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick, along with phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry performed accurately and professionally.

The position offers a 5.5-day workweek, potential for career progression within the public healthcare sector, and AWS plus PB (up to four months) according to policy.

Qualifications

• Recognised N/O Level/ITE Certificate or Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Health Sciences or a Certificate in phlebotomy.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, caring, and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick.
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, compliant work area and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Ensure two identifiers are used for every patient before collection and testing.
• Document all procedures for traceability and good documentation.
• Comply with workplace safety, hand hygiene and regulatory requirements.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to patients, doctors and vendors over the counter or phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
• Ensure 2 identifier is performed for every patient prior to collection before performing test for patients
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone

Requirements
