Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomy and ECG Technician to join our clinical support team in Singapore. You will perform phlebotomy and ECG procedures, assist with basic laboratory tests, and help with inventory and data collation while maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or certificate in medical technology, nursing, or phlebotomy, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in medical technology, nursing or phlebotomy.
• Experience in phlebotomy; ECG experience is a plus.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to take initiative and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and ECG accurately and efficiently.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture, capillary methods, or heel pricks.
• Assist with basic laboratory tests and point-of-care meters.
• Support inventories and data collection; participate in safety and quality programs.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and electrocardiogram (ECG) in an accurate, efficient and professional way, and assist in basic laboratory tests processing such as point of care meters


• Responsible for skillful, timely, accurate and sufficient collection of blood specimens from patients using various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary collection and/or heel pricks as required for clinical tests


• Assist in basic administrative works such as inventories management and statistic collation


• Ensuring compliance to safety requirement and participate in quality improvement projects and training programs

Requirements

• Recognized Diploma in Medical Technology, Nursing or Certificate of Phlebotomy


• Relevant experience in phlebotomy (preferred) and ECG (advantageous)


• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills


• Must have initiative and able to work well in a team.
