Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is recruiting a phlebotomist for a public healthcare client in Singapore. The role requires accurate blood collection via venipuncture, capillary, and heel-prick, with a strong focus on patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, ECG and spirometry, maintaining a clean, safe work area, strict infection control, proper documentation, and prompt service to patients, doctors and staff over the counter or by phone.

Qualifications

• Qualified with N/O Level/ITE certificate or Diploma in Biomedical Sciences, Nursing or Health Sciences.
• Experience in phlebotomy in fast-paced settings.
• Compassionate, caring and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, skillful and accurate blood collection for patients using venipuncture, capillary and heel-prick
• Perform phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way
• Ensure work area is clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with infection control guidelines
• Ensure 2 identifier is performed for every patient prior to collection before performing test for patients
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and in adherence to good documentation practices.
• Ensure compliance to workplace safety, hand hygiene and other applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements of the laboratory.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all external and internal clients (patients, doctors, vendors) over the counter or on the phone
