Job summary

Community Chest in Singapore seeks a seasoned professional to lead landscape analysis, strategic partnerships and policy formulation to strengthen sustainable philanthropy through strategic initiatives.

You will drive environmental scanning, develop data-driven value propositions, build partnerships, draft policy papers and steer projects to completion, collaborating with diverse stakeholders in the social service sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in strategic planning or policy development.
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Public sector experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of social service/fundraising landscape will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and implementation of evidence-based philanthropic policies and strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies and strategic partnerships to strengthen the ecosystem for sustainable resourcing and giving.
• Support the formulation and execution of philanthropic-related policies that promote sustainable giving.
• Undertake environmental scanning and sectoral research to identify emerging trends and build competitive value propositions for Community Chest
• Develop datadriven, competitive value propositions that strengthen Community Chest's market position
• Formulate strategy and strategic initiatives to address structural issues in the sector/landscape
• Develop comprehensive business analysis that transforms challenges into opportunities for growth
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships to advance philanthropy efforts in Singapore
• Draft policy papers on philanthropy-related issues
• Create strategic messaging to position Community Chest as the choice philanthropic partner for the social service sector
• Lead projects and assignments as and when needed
