Job summary

RECRUIT INC PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with ordering, dispensing, and patient counseling while maintaining stringent inventory controls. The role includes supervising junior staff and supporting administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy-related field, with strong communication and organizational skills, and willingness to work five days including weekends and standby for night

Qualifications

• GCE N Level plus a professional certification or diploma.
• Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course from PSG or equivalent.
• Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science acceptable as alternative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful, organized and able to work independently.
• Able to work 5 days including weekends and standby for night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain distribution of drugs and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Assist pharmacist with drugs ordering, processing and replenishment.
• Dispense and counsel patients on medications per Good Dispensing Guidelines.
• Provide professional and good customer service to patients and staff.
• Supervise, coach and train new pharmacy technicians and assistants in work processes.
• Help with other administrative functions as assigned by pharmacists.

Job Requirements

• Minimum GCE "N" Level with a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course conducted by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore with at least 4 years of relevant experience or Diploma in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Science.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful, organized and able to work independently.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities and good problem-solving skills.
• Able to work 5 working days, including Saturday or Sunday.
• Able to standby to cover night shifts, when needed.
