Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Life Sciences project leader in Singapore to manage complex investment projects from charter to handover. You will coordinate scope, cost, schedule, safety, procurement, and external partners to ensure delivery meets operational requirements.

The role requires 4–6 years in regulated industrial environments, experience with charters, business cases, and execution plans, and strong leadership and communication skills. An exciting opportunity with a global team awaits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• 4–6 years of experience managing engineering, CAPEX, construction, or investment projects.
• Experience developing charters, business cases, scopes, schedules, budgets.
• Understanding cost estimation, forecasting, value-improvement principles.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, contract administration, vendor management.
• Capable of managing stage-gate processes, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Familiar with FAT, SAT, equipment inspections and acceptance activities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and develop business requirements, work breakdown structures, cost breakdowns, and project schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates and conduct value-improvement reviews.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, bid evaluation, and the placement of orders or contracts based on technical specifications.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, risks, quality, and progress.
• Coordinate statutory permit submissions and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee construction management, equipment installation, contractor safety, and inspection activities.
