Job summary

Amaris Consulting is hiring a Life Sciences Project Manager to lead investment projects from definition to handover in Singapore. You will coordinate scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, procurement, and external partners to deliver projects that meet stringent operational requirements.

You will develop charters, business cases, WBS, costs, and execution plans while directing procurement, risk management, and stage-gate reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 4–6 years of experience managing engineering, CAPEX, construction, or investment projects in a regulated industrial environment.
• Experience developing charters, business cases, scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Understanding of cost estimation, cost control, forecasting, and value-improvement principles.
• Experience with procurement, tendering, contract administration, vendor management, or claims management.
• Capability to manage projects through stage-gate processes, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage investment projects from definition through handover, coordinating scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, procurement, and external partners.
• Prepare charters, business cases, and project initiation documents; develop WBS and cost breakdown structures.
• Lead procurement activities, tender evaluation, and contract placement based on technical specs.
• Monitor costs, schedules, risks, quality, and progress; establish change-control processes.
• Coordinate permits, regulatory requirements, and project stage-gate reviews; manage vendors and contractors.
• Oversee construction management, equipment installation, FAT/SAT, and turnover activities.
