Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is seeking a West-area Perm Lab Assistant in Healthcare Lab at our Singapore facility. The role involves receiving and sorting specimens, operating an LIS, and supporting billing and safety compliance.

You will work with Medical Technologists to ensure accurate processing and adherence to lab protocols. The position requires at least secondary education and relevant medical lab exposure is a plus, with emphasis on maintaining a clean workspace and following safety

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent; relevant medical lab exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive laboratory specimens and reject unsuitable ones for processing.
• Sort and pack specimens for couriers/porters at send-out schedules.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and tidy.
• Operate the Laboratory Information System for result queries, order entry, packing lists, and result entry.
• Perform billing-related tasks.
• Work closely with the Medical Technologists.
• Follow laboratory protocols in all procedures.
• Comply with good laboratory practice as per CAP LAP standards.
• Report adverse incidents to a senior staff member.
• Comply with the Laboratory Safety Manual requirements.
