Job summary

IFIS Asia Holdings PTE. LTD. is seeking a non-functional tester to design and execute performance, load, stress, and reliability tests across its systems. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, automation, and collaboration with multiple teams in a fast-paced financial environment.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in CS/Engineering/Mathematics, has experience testing REST APIs, IBM MQ, GUI performance, and is comfortable scripting in Bash/Perl/Python on UNIX/Linux platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience as non-functional tester on REST API, IBM MQ and GUI performance/load testing.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Perl or Python for test execution and metrics.

Job description

Key Deliverables expected for this Role

1. Design, write, and execute test cases for performance, load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.
2. Executing non-functional tests manually or using automation tool to ensure the systems meet non-functional requirements and standards.
3. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance and reliability.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

1. At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
2. Relevant working experience as a non-functional tester on REST API, IBM MQ and GUI performance testing, load testing and resiliency /failover testing
3. Knowledge of scripting language such as Bash, Perl or Python for running the tests and collecting the results or metrics.
4. Experience working on UNIX/Linux platforms is a must.
5. Good communication skills, verbal and written, able to collaborate/facilitate with various parties within the team and with other teams
6. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
7. Good end to end knowledge of financial markets products such as Indices, Equities, Commodities, FX and Fixed Income would be an added advantage.
