Job summary

Avensys Consulting is seeking a Tech Arch-Performance Tester in Singapore to design and implement performance testing strategies across UI, APIs, and databases. You will develop scripts with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling and run load, stress, endurance, and spike tests while monitoring with APM tools.

The role emphasizes identifying bottlenecks, collaborating with development teams, and producing detailed performance reports with tuning recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Open to fresh graduates with relevant educational qualifications and a strong interest in performance testing.
• Experienced candidates are welcome to apply with exposure to AWS Cloud.
• Knowledge of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with at least one performance testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing strategies, plans, and test scenarios based on system architecture and business requirements.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
• Execute various performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing, and analyze system behavior under different workloads.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Identify performance bottlenecks across the application stack, including UI, APIs, databases, and infrastructure, and collaborate with development teams to resolve them.
• Create and manage test environments and test data required for performance testing.
• Prepare detailed performance test reports, including findings, metrics, analysis, and tuning recommendations.
• Support performance tuning initiatives and participate in capacity planning discussions.
