Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a PDE MRDA KEG Engineer / Senior Engineer to develop, qualify, deploy, and sustain advanced defect inspection and metrology solutions supporting NPI, HBM, and high-volume manufacturing.

You will drive capability readiness, yield improvement, and defect reduction through cross-functional collaboration across global sites. The role requires deep semiconductor manufacturing expertise, data analytics, equipment qualification, and the ability to influence strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
Deep understanding of semiconductor equipment performance and manufacturing operations.
Experience driving equipment qualifications, technology transfers, and manufacturing ramp readiness.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage advanced inspection and metrology platforms throughout package development and manufacturing.
Develop technology roadmaps and capability strategies for future packaging requirements.
Lead tool installation, qualification (TIQ), release, and production readiness activities.
Drive defect metrics, data dashboards, and analytics to support defect traceability and process control.
Collaborate with Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, and Global Engineering teams.
