ST Engineering eServ is seeking a payroll processing professional to join a team responsible for monthly and off-cycle payroll cycles. You will ensure accurate data interfaced from the HR Information System to the Payroll System and support timely salary payouts.

You will work with HR to update inputs, identify data issues, and contribute to process improvements. A Diploma, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are required.

• Process and verify monthly payroll transactions, including salary pro-ration for new hires and resignees, CPF submissions, taxation, and other payroll-related tasks.
• Coordinate with HR business partners to update inputs for relevant pay elements and support timely payroll processing and issue resolution.
• Identify and report data inaccuracies or discrepancies in payroll systems for follow-up actions.
• Maintain secure archival of payroll files to support audits.
• Analyze and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and payroll effectiveness.

You will be required to work in a team to process payroll for multiple cycles (main & off-cycle). At the same time, you will also facilitate to ensure that data interfaced from HR Information System to the Payroll System are accurate to ensure accurate and timely salary pay-outs. Where required, you will be required to provide feedback and highlight improvements to the systems to enhance operational effectiveness.

• Process - Verify and process monthly volume of more than 500 monthly payroll-related transactions, including salary pro-ration for new hires and resignees, monthly CPF submissions, taxation, and other payroll-related transactions. Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within stipulated timelines, in compliance with stipulated policies and guidelines, including the handling of doubtful or complex payroll transactions.
• Coordinate - Correspond with HR business partners in updating of inputs necessary for relevant pay elements, and support timely payroll processing and issue resolution.
• Investigate- Identify and report data inaccuracies or discrepancies in payroll systems for follow up action.
• Audit - Maintain a secured archival of payroll files to support annual and ad-hoc audit exercises.
• Improve - Analyse and recommend process improvements and effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall payroll effectiveness.
