Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Manager to lead a team of Payments Performance Strategists who work with Sales and Customer Success to differentiate Stripe and win deals across SEA and Greater China.

The role requires 10+ years in analytics/operations/payments, 3–5 years of people management, and fluency in English and Mandarin; you will shape regional strategy and coach teams to deliver value to Stripe’s customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in business analytics, operations, finance & strategy, or payment strategy.
• 3–5 years of people management experience in a tech/payments environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with business partners.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Payment Performance Strategists across the SEA and Greater China region.
• Develop the long-term vision and strategy for a growing team, and scale day-to-day operations.
• Coach, mentor, and guide the team in developing its regional narrative and consultative approach.
• Develop relationships with regional and global leadership to ensure value delivery.
• Work cross-functionally within Stripe to provide expertise on major strategic initiatives.
• Engage directly with leadership teams of strategic users as sponsor or in executive briefings.
• Improve the quality of Stripe’s payments products through collaboration with product and R&D.
• Increase user acquisition and retention through workshops and trainings.
• Advise on GTM strategy and product development.
• Elevate Stripe’s reputation within the payments community.
