Job summary

Stripe is seeking a motivated APAC Payments TechOps Intern to work on real data projects. You will analyze financial data, write queries, and help ensure data quality across Stripe's payment flows under a dedicated mentor.

You will build dashboards and tooling that ship to production, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and finance, and gain hands-on experience in payments data analysis and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS, data science, finance, economics, information systems, or related field.
• Some experience with programming or data analysis using SQL, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience from internships or multi-person projects showing feedback from mentors and peers.
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems with mentorship and independently.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data by writing queries and examining data quality.
• Write code or build tooling used in production affecting Stripe's payment operations.
• Provide and receive technical feedback via code reviews and data-model discussions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and finance stakeholders.
• Learn quickly by engaging with your intern manager and teammates.
