Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a focused candidate to handle payment claims for project teams. You will scrutinize claims for accuracy and coordinate with Project and Finance to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires basic accounting knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team to ensure timely processing of payment claims.

Qualifications

• Basic accounting knowledge is required.
• Good communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Accounting background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all payment claims submitted by the Project team.
• Check and scrutinize payment claims for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all payment claims are processed in the accounting system within expected periods.
• Maintain records for all incoming/outgoing payment claims.
• Process full sets of payment claims in the accounting system.
• Coordinate queries between the Project and Finance teams during processing.
• Monitor payment claim status and respond to the Project team.
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments and reporting.
