Job summary

Unison Group in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Payments Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience, including 8+ years in banking payments, to lead analytics and domain architecture for payment rails and standards.

You will harmonize payment classifications, trace end-to-end multi-leg flows, and drive reconciliation and exception reporting with strong SQL, while coordinating workshops with payments operations and product teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in payments domain, incl. 8+ years in banking payments.
• Experience with Singapore rails: FAST, PayNow, GIRO, MEPS+.
• Strong SQL and data mapping capabilities for source-to-target migrations.
• Ability to run workshops and guide SIT/UAT with operations and product teams.
• Exposure to ISO 20022 migration and cross-border payment archetypes.

Responsibilities

• Harmonize payment classifications and data models across products and channels.
• Trace multi-leg payments end to end and stitch counterparty data.
• Lead reconciliation and exception reporting across large transaction datasets.
• Conduct source-to-target mappings and ensure data quality for AML screening.

Job description

We are looking for Payments Business Analyst with 12+ years, including 8+ years on banking payments.

Must-have Skills

Banking and domain

• Singapore payment rails: FAST, PayNow, GIRO and MEPS+
• SWIFT MT (103, 202, 202COV) and ISO 20022 MX (pacs.008, pacs.009, pain.001, camt); correspondent banking and nostro/vostro
• Payment archetypes: domestic and cross-border, single and bulk, real-time and batch, cross-currency, inward and outward, and internal transfers
• Payments data for AML: originator and beneficiary data, wire transfer rules and sanctions screening

Business and data analysis

• Harmonizing payment classifications and data models across payments, product (CASA, loans, cards, deposits) and channel data
• Tracing multi-leg payments end to end, including counterparty stitching
• Reconciliation and exception reporting across large transaction tables
• Source-to-target mappings and strong SQL

Delivery and communication

• Running workshops with payments operations and product teams
• Leading SIT and UAT through to business sign-off

Good-to-have Skills

• Payments hubs such as Volante, ACI, Finastra or FIS
• ISO 20022 migration experience
• Regional real-time payment schemes

Certifications (preferred)

SWIFT or ISO 20022; CBAP; CAMS.
