Job summary

Hong Kong Unison Limited is seeking a Payments Business Analyst with 12+ years of experience, including 8+ years on banking payments. The role involves analyzing payment rails, data models, and AML rules to ensure accurate end-to-end processing.

You will run workshops with payments operations and product teams, map source-to-target data, perform SIT/UAT, and support reconciliation across large transaction datasets. Strong SQL and standards knowledge are highly valued.

Job description

We are looking for Payments Business Analyst with 12+ years, including 8+ years on banking payments.

Must-have skills

Banking and domain

• Singapore payment rails: FAST, PayNow, GIRO and MEPS+.
• SWIFT MT (103, 202, 202COV) and ISO 20022 MX (pacs.008, pacs.009, pain.001, camt); correspondent banking and nostro/vostro.
• Payment archetypes: domestic and cross-border, single and bulk, real-time and batch, cross-currency, inward and outward, and internal transfers.
• Payments data for AML: originator and beneficiary data, wire transfer rules and sanctions screening.

Business and data analysis

• Harmonizing payment classifications and data models across payments, product (CASA, loans, cards, deposits) and channel data.
• Tracing multi-leg payments end to end, including counterparty stitching.
• Reconciliation and exception reporting across large transaction tables.
• Source-to-target mappings and strong SQL.

Delivery and communication

• Running workshops with payments operations and product teams.
• Leading SIT and UAT through to business sign-off.

Good-to-have skills

• Payments hubs such as Volante, ACI, Finastra or FIS.
• Regional real-time payment schemes.

Certifications (preferred)

• SWIFT or ISO 20022; CBAP; CAMS.
