Job summary

Infosys BPM Philippines is seeking a Business Analyst with Banking and Payments experience to support transformation initiatives across payment platforms. You will work with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and QA to analyze requirements, document solutions, and assist delivery.

The role requires understanding of payment systems, ISO 20022 knowledge is desirable, and you will operate in a flexible, hybrid work environment with case-by-case scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, CS, Engineering or related discipline.
• Payments or banking certification is a plus.
• ISO 20022 knowledge desirable.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, FRS, user stories and process flows.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and walkthroughs.
• Support impact assessments for payment products and regulatory changes.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for dev/testing teams.
• Understand payment workflows across ACH/NACHA, RTP, RTGS, SWIFT, cross-border.
• Analyze payment lifecycle: initiation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, exceptions.
• Analyze payment failures and operational issues.
• Create business process maps, use cases, wireframes and workflows.
• Assist QA with test scenarios and cases; support SIT/UAT and rollout.

Position Description

Business Analyst with experience in Banking and Payments to support payment transformation and modernization initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and QA teams to analyze requirements, document solutions, and support project delivery across payment platforms

The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of payment systems, message formats, banking operations, and software delivery lifecycle

Essential Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), User Stories, and process flows.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Support impact assessments for new payment products, regulatory changes, and system enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and testing teams.
• Understand payment processing workflows across: ACH / NACHA, Real-Time Payments (RTP), RTGS, SWIFT Payments, Cross-border Payments etc.
• Analyze payment lifecycle including initiation, validation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Analyze payment failures, rejections, and operational issues
• Create business process maps, use cases, wireframes, and workflow diagrams and manage them
• Assist QA teams in test scenario and test case preparation.
• Validate business functionality during SIT and UAT phases and assist for rollout in production and post implementation support
• Collaborate with business users, operations teams, compliance teams, and technology teams
• Provide status updates and support project governance activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Master/ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Payments or banking certification is a plus.
• ISO 20022 knowledge is desirable.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology
• Able to communicate in English.
