Job summary

OCBC Singapore is seeking an Analyst to perform sanctions screening assessments in the transaction screening system and coordinate with groups to resolve payment-related issues. The role involves escalating to the relevant units, ensuring timely clearance of alerts, and documenting investigations for performance reporting.

You will work with bankers and business units, identify gaps, and propose operational improvements while supporting occasional UATs and projects.

Qualifications

• Experience performing sanctions screening and escalations.
• Ability to work in a team to meet cut-off times and service levels.
• A proactive approach to identifying gaps and proposing improvements.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation of investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform first and second level assessments on sanctions transactions/alerts.
• Escalate cases to Business Units/GFCC when required.
• Ensure all alerts are cleared within the SLA and manage team mailbox if assigned.
• Document daily investigations for records and reporting.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and UAT as needed.
• Contribute to team huddle sessions and communicate operational gaps and root causes.
