Responsibilities

Nihon Premium Clinic is looking for a personable, proactive Patient Care Coordinator to support our patients throughout their healthcare journey from preparing for their first visit to coordinating follow-up care.

Patient service and care coordination are the main focus of this role, with opportunities to contribute to the clinic’s social media content.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Experience and Care Coordination

• Provide a warm, professional welcome and respond to patient enquiries with care and clarity.
• Coordinate appointments, health screenings, referrals and follow-up visits.
• Help patients prepare for appointments by collecting relevant documents and sharing approved preparation instructions.
• Keep patients informed about visit arrangements, waiting times and next steps.
• Track outstanding reports, appointments and follow-up actions. Working closely with doctors, nurses and external providers.
• Support patients in following doctor-directed health plans through reminders, check-ins and accurate record-keeping.
• Identify service issues and suggest practical ways to improve the patient experience and clinic workflow.
• Assist with patient registration and related administrative tasks when needed.

Social Media and Content Support

• Help capture engaging photographs and short videos of the clinic environment, team, health education activities and events.
• Assist with simple editing, captions and content preparation for the clinic’s social media channels.
• Contribute ideas that communicate our services in a clear, approachable and professional way.
• Follow clinic approval processes, patient privacy requirements and applicable healthcare advertising guidelines when creating or sharing content.

This is a coordination and patient support role. Medical advice and clinical decisions remain with the healthcare professionals.

What We Are Looking For:

• A friendly, empathetic and professional manner, with neat presentation and strong service etiquette.
• Excellent communication, organisation and follow-through.
• A proactive approach and the ability to remain calm when plans change.
• An interest in health, wellness and building positive patient relationships.
• Enjoyment of photography, short-form video and social media content creation.
• Basic familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar tools is an advantage.
• Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong spoken and written English. Mandarin and/or Japanese language skills are an advantage when assisting patients who communicate in these languages.
• Prior experience in healthcare, patient relations, hospitality, customer service or medical concierge services is preferred. Candidates with transferable service skills are welcome to apply.
