Job summary

MCI Career Services in Singapore is seeking candidates for a kitchen role responsible for overseeing production, quality, storage, and hygiene across shifts.

The role emphasizes adherence to recipes and FIFO, safe equipment use, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; previous culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production of food items to ensure compliance with prescribed recipes, specifications, and standards for presentation, production, and portioning.
• Ensure quality according to standards; maintain sanitary conditions and apply First-In-First-Out (FIFO) kitchen practices.
• Ensure proper storage of all food products in appropriate fridges and storage containers throughout the shift.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitation in all culinary work areas and ensure colleagues clean their stations after every service.
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and instruct this to all culinary colleagues.

• Ensure quality of food items according to thestandards in place. It includes ensuring all food items are in perfect sanitarycondition, applying “First in First out!” kitchen best practice.
  
• Ensure all food products are stored properly intheir appropriate fridges and storage containers throughout shift.
  
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness andsanitation in and around all culinary work areas and ensure that all colleaguesclean their stations after every service.
  
• Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at alltimes and to instruct this to all culinary colleagues.
