• Consistently prepare pasta with uniform taste, plating, and timing.
• Prepare and portion ingredients before service (mise en place).

• Uphold food quality and presentation standards during busy periods.
• Pay attention to plating details to uphold standards.
• Collaborate with team to support smooth kitchen workflow.

About Us Saikyo Pasta is a 12-seat Japanese-Italian pasta restaurant at Icon Village, Tanjong Pagar — built from scratch by a husband and wife passionate about food. We started from a home kitchen and are now growing. We seek like-minded people who share our passion for food.

Job Summary

You will run the main cooking station, preparing our core pasta menu with a focus on food quality while collaborating closely with the team.

Responsibilities

• Consistently prepare pasta dishes with uniform taste, plating, and timing for every plate served
• Prepare and portion ingredients before service to ensure smooth kitchen operations (mise en place)
• Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages to maintain uninterrupted service
• Maintain and reset the cooking station throughout shifts to ensure efficiency
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe during and after service
• Maintain food quality and presentation standards even during busy periods
• Pay close attention to details in plating and kitchen housekeeping to uphold standards
• Collaborate reliably with team members to support smooth kitchen workflow
