Job summary

Saikyo Pasta PTE. LTD. in Icon Village, Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, is seeking a friendly Service Crew to greet guests, take reservations, explain the menu, and serve food and drinks at a small 12-seat counter. You will interact with regulars and keep the pace lively in a cozy Japanese-Italian pasta bar.

Shift pattern includes a five-day work week with lunch and dinner blocks; you’ll help with light prep, basic kitchen tasks, stock checks, and keeping the dining area clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• Welcomes guests and manages seating/reservations.
• Explains menu and makes dish recommendations.
• Serves food/drinks and performs light prep.
• Maintains clean, organized counter and dining area.

• Explain the menu and recommend dishes.
• Serve food and drinks, including light prep (toasting bread, plating simple items, scooping ice cream) and simple drinks.
• Help with basic kitchen prep, such as cutting kombu and beetroot for our cold dishes.
• Keep fridges and the service station stocked, and help track inventory.
• Chat with guests and keep the atmosphere warm and relaxed.
• Clear plates and reset seats between guests.
• Keep the counter, dining area and service station clean.

About the role

Service Crew at Saikyo Pasta, a 12-seat Japanese-Italian pasta bar at Icon Village, Tanjong Pagar. Every guest sits at the counter, so you'll serve them face to face and get to know our regulars.

• Serve food and drinks, including light prep (toasting bread, plating simple items, scooping ice cream) and simple drinks (sodas, mixers over ice)
• Help with basic kitchen prep, such as cutting kombu and beetroot for our cold dishes
• Keep fridges and the service station stocked, and help track inventory
• Chat with guests and keep the atmosphere warm and relaxed
• Clear plates and reset seats between guests
• Keep the counter, dining area and service station clean

Schedule

• Closed on Public Holidays
• Five-day work week
• Lunch Shift: 10.30am - 3.00pm
• Break: 3.00pm - 5.00pm
• Dinner Shift: 5.00pm - 9.30pm
