Job summary

Arta Finance, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and build backend services powering the B2B Wealth Platform.

You will own end-to-end API design, data models, and production reliability, working with AI coding agents and LLM-based tooling to ship faster in collaboration with partner engineers and product teams. You will be embedded with a partner, acting as the technical contact for their teams, and you will own a partner integration from design to production.

Qualifications

• Required: 5+ years backend software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful and gRPC APIs, microservices.
• Strong data modeling and database systems knowledge.
• Experience integrating with external partners and APIs.
• Ability to design for reliability, performance and security.
• Fluency with AI coding tools and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for partner use cases.
• Own architecture decisions on system design, data modeling, and service boundaries.
• Write clean, well-tested code and use AI coding agents in daily workflow.
• Build and integrate LLM/agent-powered capabilities to unlock product value.
• Collaborate with partner engineers and product teams; participate in on-call and incident response.
