Job summary

KAKUSHIN F&B PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable part-time Service Crew to support weekday lunch and weekend service at our fine-dining omakase restaurant on Orchard (Scotts Road). You will help deliver a calm, attentive guest experience in a Japanese dining setting.

The role offers flexible shifts, staff meals on duty, uniform guidance, hands-on omakase service training, and CPF contributions as required by law.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
• Fine dining or Japanese cuisine experience preferred
• Well-groomed and presentable
• Able to work in a fast-paced service environment
• Clear spoken English with willingness to learn Japanese menu terms
• Able to stand for long periods
• Flexible weekday lunch and weekend availability
• Basic Food Hygiene certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests; support reservations and waitlist flow
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and clear/reset tables to restaurant standards
• Explain menu items and dietary notes accurately; accelerate special requests promptly
• Maintain dining-room cleanliness, mise en place, and service stations throughout the shift
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar so courses go out on time
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety, and cash/POS procedures as assigned
• Assist with opening/closing duties and other FOH tasks as needed

Pay: S$14-17/hr. Open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.

Requirements

• Prior F&B service experience preferred (fine dining or Japanese cuisine a plus)
• Well-groomed and presentable
• Warm, polished service manner
• Comfortable in a fine-dining setting
• Clear spoken English; ability to learn Japanese menu terms
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a paced service environment
• Flexible availability for weekday lunch and/or weekend shifts
• Basic Food Hygiene certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
