MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a part-time School Counsellor in Singapore to provide counselling support within a school setting.

The role augments the existing School Counsellor and contributes to student wellbeing, teacher development, and peer-support initiatives. Applicants should have a Diploma or degree in Social Work or related field, at least three years of youth counselling experience, and strong computer literacy.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work or a related Social Science field.
At least three years of counselling experience with youths aged 12-18 in a school, residential home or community centre.
Ability to remain calm and empathetic in stressful situations, build rapport with youths and maintain professional boundaries.
Patience, compassion, resilience and teamwork skills.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Provide counselling support to augment the school's existing School Counsellor.
Support the professional development of teachers.
Equip student peer supporters to understand adolescent issues, including cyberbullying, stress and relationships, identify peers needing help and refer them to counsellors for follow-up.
