Job summary

Gentle Smile Dental Studio, a dental practice located in Wheelock Place, seeks a part-time dental assistant to support dentists and oversee front desk duties. The role includes patient comfort management, room preparation, and maintaining sterile conditions.

Working Mon, Wed, Fri 9am–6pm with alternating Saturdays 9am–1pm, totaling 3.25 days per week. Prior dental experience and IT-savvy applicants are preferred; attractive profit-based incentive provided.

Qualifications

• Must have at least Secondary School Certificate / O-Level.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• IT literate to use clinic software and email.
• Experience in dental industry is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during treatments and ensure patient comfort.
• Prepare treatment rooms by stocking materials and maintaining equipment.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and hygiene and sterilise instruments.
• Perform ad hoc front desk duties including patient registration, appointments, cashiering and explaining treatments.
• Assist in administrative tasks as needed.

Job Descriptions

• To assist the dentists in carrying out treatments and to attend to patient’s comfort during treatment.
• Prepare treatment room by stocking dental materials and ensuring equipment are well maintained
• Maintaining the clinic cleanliness and hygiene to a high standard and ensuring sterilisation of instruments
• Ad hoc front desk receptions duties including patient registration, appointment booking, cashiering and explaining treatments to patients
• Assist in ad hoc administrative works.

Jobs requirements

• Candidates must possess at least Secondary School Certificate/ "O" Level in any field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
