Job summary

POLYGEMS (PG) DENTAL CARE (YISHUN) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Dental Assistant to support chairside procedures, room setup, instrument sterilisation and infection-control standards.

The role includes both clinical and reception duties in a busy dental clinic. Applicants should have at least 1 year of dental clinic experience, be confident with common procedures, and be able to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of a 5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dental clinic experience
• Able to assist confidently with most common dental procedures
• Familiar with dental instruments, sterilisation and infection-control procedures
• Able to perform both clinical assisting and reception duties
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Responsible, punctual and reliable
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance for most dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise dental instruments
• Maintain infection-control and clinical cleanliness standards
• Assist with clinical stock and general clinic duties
• Handle patient registration, enquiries and appointments
• Manage calls, messages and appointment scheduling
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Assist with CHAS, Medisave and other applicable payment schemes
• Perform basic administrative and reception duties

Dental Assistant

Work Arrangement & Schedule

IMPORTANT: 5-day workweek, approximately 44 working hours per week.

Work on Saturday and Sunday

Two weekdays off

Applicants who are unable to work weekends should not apply

Final working hours and roster will be discussed during the interview

Job Responsibilities

During clinical sessions:

• Provide chairside assistance for most dental procedures
