Job summary

Toppan Trident is seeking an experienced Print Production Manager to support a key global client in Tokyo. You will ensure artwork moves smoothly from design through to print, maintaining quality and consistency while coordinating with clients, internal teams, and print partners.

The role requires around 5 years in print production or packaging repro, a solid understanding of colour management and proofing, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years experience in print production, packaging repro, or a related creative/print environment.
• Good working knowledge of print processes across different packaging types.
• Solid understanding of colour management and proofing.
• An eye for detail and a strong sense of brand quality.

Responsibilities

• Be the main reference for print feasibility and quality for projects.
• Review new packaging designs and advise on artwork and separation approaches.
• Coordinate with clients, printers and suppliers to align on technical solutions.
• Provide guidance to Artworkers to achieve accurate, consistent outcomes.
• Coach Artworkers to build confidence and consistency.
• Maintain brand colour standards and print quality.
• Keep printer specifications and records up to date in systems.
• Review printed results and share observations for improvement.
• Collaborate with account, artwork and production teams to keep work on time.
