GAIA ANIMAL HOSPITAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our overnight hospitalization team on Jalan Besar & Parksuites. You will support veterinarians, ensure patient safety, and help provide high-quality care during all hours.

Shifts include 1:30pm-10:30pm and 10pm-9:30am with a 4-day work week. Expect exposure to orthopaedics, anesthesia, emergency stabilization, and routine nursing tasks as part of a dynamic, growing practice.

Qualifications

• Registered veterinary nurse or eligible technician.
• Experience in veterinary clinics.
• Comfort working night shifts.
• Strong communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support veterinarians to ensure the best quality patient care.
• Ensure the safety of pets, clients and teammates by using safe restraining techniques and maintaining clean treatment areas.
• Educate clients about preventive care, hospital services and treatment plans.
• Assist with surgery and anaesthesia.
• Perform emergency stabilization and resuscitation.
• Handle all aspects of veterinary nursing.
• Overnight monitoring of patients.

Gaia Vets is looking to improve and expand our overnight hospitalization services. We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician to join our team at Jalan Besar & Parksuites (Holland Grove Road).

Responsibilities for this role (not-exhaustive)

• Assist and support veterinarians to ensure the best quality patient care
• Ensure the safety of pets, clients and teammates by utilizing safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols while maintaining clean, sterile and organized treatment areas, exams rooms and labs.
• Educate clients about preventive care, pet health needs, any diagnosis or treatment, hospital services and other related matters.
• Assist with surgery & anaesthesia
• Perform emergency stabilization & resuscitation
• All aspects of veterinary nursing
• Overnight monitoring

Shift Availability

• Evening Shift: 1:30pm - 10:30pm (Required)
• Overnight Shift: 10pm-9:30am (Required)
• 4 Day work week

Schedule

• Day shift

• Weekend availability

Expected hours: 40 per week
