Job summary

Skills and Workforce Development Agency in Singapore seeks a Manager/Senior Manager, Outreach Events and Management to lead end-to-end planning and delivery of career events, workshops, and outreach initiatives across physical, virtual, and hybrid formats.

You will conceptualise event formats, engage employers and community organisations, manage vendors and budgets, and monitor performance data to drive improvements. Successful candidates will join a dynamic team driving workforce development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event management, programme delivery, project management, partnerships, outreach or related field.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, stakeholders and concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in workforce, community, employer engagement or career-related initiatives is an advantage.
• Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered even without formal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of career events, workshops, networking sessions and outreach across physical, virtual and hybrid formats.
• Conceptualise event formats, participant journeys and engagement approaches; pilot new initiatives and improve formats to strengthen participation and job-matching outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, industry partners, associations, community organisations and internal stakeholders to mobilise participation and resources.
• Shape targeted outreach strategies to attract suitable jobseekers and employers and curate activities reducing skills and hiring mismatch.
• Oversee event operations including vendor management, logistics, registration, execution and post-event follow-up.
• Develop event budgets, monitor utilisation, ensure value for money and verify billing.
• Establish and monitor event performance measures and translate insights into improvements.
• Lead post-event reviews and institutionalise best practices across the event portfolio.
• Coordinate internal teams and external parties to deliver multiple concurrent events.
