Job summary

Hey Co Group is a Singaporean multi-brand F&B group housing five concepts under one growing family. The Outlet Chef will own daily kitchen operations, work closely with the Executive Chef, and ensure food quality, cost, and consistency are maintained across shifts.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a similar role, strong culinary skills, and a track record of leading teams while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the same or an equivalent position.
• Strong food knowledge and hands-on culinary skills.
• Proven ability to lead a kitchen team.
• Willing to mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Good communication across kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day kitchen operations to keep services smooth during peak and off-peak hours.
• Plan and develop menus in line with brand standards and seasonal ingredients.
• Source ingredients and manage supplier relationships to maintain quality and cost.
• Own food costing, recipe standardization, and portion control.
• Monitor and minimize wastage through inventory and stock management.
• Lead, train, and manage the kitchen team, including scheduling and briefings.
• Maintain food safety and workplace safety standards at all times.
• Report kitchen performance and costs to the Executive Chef.
