Job summary

SARGEANT-LEE GROUP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced restaurant operations professional to coordinate daily front and back of house duties and elevate customer satisfaction. You will guide shifts, mentor staff, and ensure quality, safety, and cost controls across operations.

The role requires long shifts, bilingual communication, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. This position is based on-site in Singapore and involves up to 12-hour workdays when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a similar industry.
• Able to work shift including late shifts (closing till 2am).
• Strong leadership to mentor team members.
• Good communication skills.
• Bilingual: English and Chinese as required by customers.
• Shift work required.
• Weekend and public holidays required.
• May work up to 12 hours per day when operations require.
• 4 days off per month.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest improvements.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (discounts and social media ads).
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
• Implement policies and protocols for future restaurant operations.
• To assist outlet manager with ad-hoc work.
