Job summary

SARGEANT-LEE GROUP HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned restaurant operations supervisor to coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House activities and deliver consistent service.

You will lead shifts, mentor staff, ensure sanitation and safety compliance, manage costs, and explore ways to broaden the audience through discounts or social media. Weekend and public holiday work required, with potential long shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar industry.
• Able to work shifts including late shifts (closing till 2am).
• Strong leadership to mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors.
• Organize and supervise shifts.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads).
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
• To assist outlet manager ad-hoc work.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years and above experience in similary industry.
• Will able to work shift work and late shift. Eg: closing till 2am.
• Strong leadership skills so able to mentor other team memebers.
• Good communication skills
• Need to know the language of english and chinese as required by the customers.
