Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore is seeking an IT Manager to plan, oversee and ensure readiness, performance and resiliency of OSIT common backend infrastructure. You will manage OSIT backend infrastructure across MINDEF/SAF networks and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and maintain high service quality.

Qualifications

• Education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and/or related professional qualifications.
• At least 3 years of IT industry management experience in a technical/engineering setting.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage OSIT common backend infrastructure across MINDEF/SAF OSIT networks and systems.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and backend technical issues.
• Ensure a high level of user satisfaction.
• Coordinate with DSTA operation and support teams and external vendors.
• Support technology refresh, upgrades and updates with effective governance.
