Job summary

Asia Search Pte Ltd invites qualified candidates for the Optics Engineer role to join a leading provider of automation solutions for the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will develop and implement optic/illumination components and systems.

Applicants should have a Bachelor in Optics/Physics/Photonics, experience with optical design software, alignment and testing, plus familiarity with LED illumination and high magnification optics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in optics/physics/photonic fields.
• Experience with optical design software, alignment and testing preferred.
• Experience with 2D drawing preferred.
• Knowledge of high magnification optics and LED illumination advantageous.
• Familiar with lenses, specifications, design trade-offs, light measurement equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new optic / illumination components/system.
• Resolve optical / illumination issues.
• Identify necessary and desirable improvements of vision optical system performance.
• Candidates must be able to be independent with minimal supervision.
