Job summary

RN CARE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is looking for an optics engineer to develop and implement new optic components and systems. The role involves designing automated visual inspection systems and resolving existing optical issues within the equipment.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum degree in Optics Engineering, Physics, or Photonics, along with at least 5 years of experience in optical design software and related areas. Knowledge of LED systems and 2D drawing is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in optical design software, alignment, testing, and high magnification optics.
• Knowledge of LED illumination systems, lenses, specifications, design trade-offs, and basic optics modeling techniques.
• Experience in 2D drawing.

Responsibilities

• In charge of developing and implementing new optic/illumination components/system.
• Responsible for designing and developing automated visual inspection systems.
• Resolve existing optical/illumination issues within the equipment.
• Identify necessary improvements for optical system performance.
