Job summary

RN Care Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Optical Engineer to lead the development and implementation of optic/illumination components for semiconductor inspection systems in Singapore.

You will design and validate automated visual inspection solutions, addressing optical performance and reliability across full equipment ranges. The role requires a degree in optics-related fields and 5+ years of hands-on experience with optical design software, alignment, testing, and high magnification optics, including

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in optics-related field (Optics, Physics, Photonics).
• At least 5 years in optical design software, alignment, testing, and high magnification optics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new optic/illumination components/system.
• Design and develop automated visual inspection systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Resolve optical/illumination issues in equipment.
• Identify improvements for vision optical system performance.

Job Description:

• In charge of developing and implementing new optic / illumination components/system
• Responsible for designing and developing automated visual inspection systems for a full range of semiconductor equipment.
• In charge of resolving existing optical/illumination issues within the equipment.
• Identify necessary and desirable improvements for vision optical system performance.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Degree in Optics Engineering, Physics, Photonics, or a related field is required.
• Minimum with 5 year working experience in optical design software, alignment, testing, and high magnification optics.
• Knowledge of LED illumination systems, lenses, specifications, design trade-offs, and basic optics modeling techniques
• Experience in 2D drawing
