Job summary

Onto Innovation in Singapore is seeking an Applications Scientist 3 to join a collaborative team advancing metrology solutions for semiconductor materials and devices. You will work with regional and international customers, perform demos, build modeling workflows, and contribute to product qualification and training efforts.

Strong PhD background and hands-on optics, data analysis, and Python programming are key.

Qualifications

• PhD holder with strong background in microelectronics, optics, or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication processes and device physics is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python programming and data analysis.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers regionally and internationally to demonstrate metrology capabilities.
• Develop and optimize modeling workflows and data analyses for complex materials and devices.
• Lead technical demos, internal product qualifications, and documentation.
• Provide training and technical support to customers and colleagues.
