Job summary

Morgan McKinley Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join its Foreign Exchange & Commodities Operations team in Singapore. The role involves providing critical back-office operational support for the GFX trading business across the Asia region, focusing on post-trade processes, electronic matching, confirmations and settlement for FX products.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Banking or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of back-office experience with FX, FICC or financial derivatives is advantageous.
• Ability to work early morning shifts and public holiday coverage in Singapore.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our Foreign Exchange & Commodities Operations team. In this role, you will provide critical back-office operational support for the Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) trading business across the Asia region. You will play a key part in managing post-trade processes, ensuring seamless electronic matching, confirmation, and settlement for FX products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily post-trade operations, electronic matching, and settlement functions for GFX products across regional Asian markets.
• Coordinate trade control and operational workflows for Foreign Exchange and related FICC trading activities.
• Liaise effectively with internal trading desks, regional counterparties, and external clients to resolve operational queries promptly.
• Identify and escape trade breaks, settlement discrepancies, or operational risks in a timely manner.
• Adapt to market hours by performing morning shift duties and working on Singapore public holidays as required by business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Min 3 years of relevant working experience in Back office and product knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX), FICC, or financial derivatives is an advantage
• Ability to work early morning shifts and coverage on Singapore public holidays.
