Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Analyst at Changi Biz Park to handle daily trade processing, settlements, and back-office operations. This role involves coordinating with counterparties, custodians, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and timely resolution of issues.

You will monitor reconciliations, perform end-of-day checks, and ensure compliance with policies and SLAs while supporting diverse asset classes including FX and derivatives.

Qualifications

• Functional knowledge/experience in back-office support.
• Proficient in products & settlement processes for Foreign Exchange and FX Derivatives.
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in stretched environment and meticulous.
• Diploma or Degree in Banking, Business Studies or related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily processing of trades and ensure on-time settlement across asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives).
• Liaise with counterparties and custodians to resolve trade mismatches quickly.
• Ensure timely reconciliations for cash, securities, and GL accounts; monitor unclaimed funds.
• Perform end-of-day checks of orderbooks and queues to prevent unattended trades.
• Adhere to policies/regulations, SLAs, and escalate issues when needed.

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Contract Duration: 12 months

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9AM-6PM

Location: Changi Biz Park, EXPO mrt

Job Scope:

• Handle daily Processing of trades and ensures on-time settlement of all trades (Equity, Bonds, Structured Products, OTC Derivatives, Corporate action event / processing of product lifecycle for Derivatives)
• Liaise with counterparties, custodians for any trades mismatch, failure / issues to ensure fast and effective resolution.
• Ensures timely and no unaccountable reconciliation breaks for cash, securities and other GL accounts / unclaimed fund items.
• Conduct end-of-day checks of Avaloq orderbooks and SWIFT Alliance queue to make sure that there are no trades left unattended and unprocessed.
• Ensures full compliance to all policies and regulations including SFA's T+X+1. Complete adherence to SLAs with Wealth Business and other internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• On-time escalation of issues and risks to the Team leader or to the Department Head.
