Job summary

This role conducts high-quality data discussions and supports IITs while operating independently from commercial activities, shaping medical engagement models for ophthalmic device innovation. You will establish peer relationships with surgeons and investigators, lead clinical data

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of Medical Affairs experience in ophthalmic devices or pharma.
• Experience engaging healthcare professionals in scientific data discussions.
• Experience supporting IITs, clinical studies, or evidence generation.
• Experience in highly regulated healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish peer-to-peer scientific relationships with ophthalmic surgeons and KOLs.
• Lead unbiased scientific discussions on clinical data and evolving standards of care.
• Support IIT initiation and management in line with regional regulations.
• Identify unmet medical needs and convey insights to internal stakeholders.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses and advisory boards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align medical strategy with regulatory requirements.
• Operate autonomously in the field, prioritizing activities and driving execution.
• Support QA and Safety in reviewing elevated product complaints with medical input.
