Job summary

Alcon seeks a Sr. Associate I, Surgical General Field Sales & Account Management in Singapore to lead IOL portfolio management, develop account plans, and drive sales targets across designated accounts.

You will support the patient journey, coordinate specialist activities, and promote Alcon brands. The role requires at least 3 years of ophthalmology or medical device sales experience, ability to work in operating theatres, and proficiency with CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Optometry, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology & Informatics or related fields.
• University degree preferred in Optometry, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Ophthalmology and/or medical devices within a surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of total IOL portfolios, account plan and execution.
• Active role in bottom-up demand generation following up with contract negotiations.
• Providing end-to-end customer support for Cataract customers and coordinating specialist roles.
• Liaising with expert roles for in-depth technical/clinical knowledge to generate demand and implement solutions.
• Initiating and driving local events that serve customer needs.
• Following and reporting on competitor activities.
• Converting from competition with value-based selling.
• Able to work in operating theatres during surgeries.
• Submit daily activity reports using Salesforce and Pitcher.
• Participate in trade exhibitions and marketing events.
