Job summary

FISH INTERNATIONAL SOURCING HOUSE PTE. LTD. is hiring for a fish processing operator to prepare workstations, handle frozen and chilled seafood, and ensure clean, efficient production lines in a cold environment.

Responsibilities include packing, deboning, deskinning as needed, storing products, and maintaining hygiene and equipment. We offer structured training, a 5.5-day work week, and opportunities for skill development in a fast-paced factory setting.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cold environment and handle cold materials.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks according to schedules.
• WSQ certification in basic food hygiene, and familiarity with fish handling and processing is an advantage.

• Handle frozen and chilled fish/seafood processing using various types of equipment, including: cutting, trimming, deboning, deskinning, etc.
• Packing: vacuum packing, strapping, etc.; Storing of products.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment; Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Packing: vacuum packing, strapping, etc.
• Storing of products

Clean and maintain tools and equipment.

Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.

Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement:

Able to work in a cold environment and handle cold materials, performing repetitive tasks according to schedules.

Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment.

Required to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing.

Responsible, punctual, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

WSQ certification in basic food hygiene, and familiarity with fish handling and processing is an advantage.

Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the nature of the job.
