Job summary

Veolia ES Singapore Industrial Pte Ltd is seeking a Warehouse & Plant Support staff to join our Singapore operations. You will perform sampling and testing on packaging waste, assist in receipt, repack, bulking, and tagging chemicals for storage and retrieval, and help with equipment preparation for maintenance.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, a GCE N Level, and preferably a forklift license.

Qualifications

Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level certification with 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in chemical processing environment is an added advantage.
Forklift license is a plus.
Candidate must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays.
An effective team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming sampling and testing on packaging waste (IBC/drums) per Pre-Acceptance report test parameters.
Collaborate with laboratory, fleet management, and production for receipt, repack, bulking, and tagging chemicals for storage and retrieval.
Perform unit start-up, shutdown, and plant turnaround activities at pre-treatment facilities.
Prepare equipment for maintenance service.
Conduct compatibility tests for bulking wastes.
Provide support for waste retrieval in the warehouse using specified equipment on ad hoc basis.
Pick up, load, and unload chemicals and drums.
Receive, issue and stocktake materials/inventory.
Ensure cleanliness and space optimization in the operations warehouse.
Inspect safety equipment (fire extinguishers, spill kits, safety showers) regularly.
