GAC (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Shipping to oversee the Ops Team and coordinate key activities across port calls and job files. The role emphasizes maintaining client relations and ensuring accurate documentation for invoicing, with emphasis on timely and reliable service.

The position requires strong leadership to motivate the team, manage long and irregular hours, and assure smooth execution of each operation from start to finish within the shipping workflow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer relationships and coordinate jobs with the client.
• Supervise and coordinate all work by the Ops Team per policy.
• Keep port call info and communications in job files and GAC Agent.
• Ensure timely delivery of job files to DA for invoicing.
• Assign vessels and jobs to Ops team fairly.
• Able to supervise, motivate the Ops Team and work long irregular hours.
• Coordinate operations with each ops executive to ensure job completion.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer Relationship and job Coordination
• Supervise and co-ordinate all work carried out by Ops Team in accordance to company policy
• Ensure all information, communication and correspondences relating to port calls are properly maintained in job files, MSand archived into Shipping business application (GAC Agent).
• Ensure the timely delivery of all job files to the DA dept for invoicing
• Assign vessels and jobs to Ops team fairly.
• Ability to supervise & motivate the Ops Team and prepared to work long and irregular hours.
• Coordinating all operations with each designated ops executive to ensure successful jobcompletion.
