Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an Operations Pharmacist (Ops Excellence) to lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, optimise workflows, and deploy manpower effectively in Singapore. You will analyse data, develop dashboards and KPIs, and drive quality improvement projects across Pharmacy operations.

The role emphasises automation, IT system collaboration, and data-driven decision making to improve productivity, turnaround time, and cost-efficiency while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Full registration with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and in active practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow management, inventory management, manpower deployment, and operational problem-solving.
• Analyse operational data and processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and operational KPIs to support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead or support quality improvement and operational excellence projects to improve productivity, quality, turnaround time, and cost-efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to digitise and automate manual or repetitive processes within pharmacy operations.
• Work with IT teams and vendors to translate operational requirements into system solutions, including system testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Act as a Pharmacy System Superuser, supporting user training, system adoption, and downtime or contingency workflows.
• Apply data analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies to solve operational problems and improve business performance.
• Support strategic and cross-functional projects, including analytics, process improvement, and transformation initiatives beyond Pharmacy where appropriate.
• Stay informed of relevant industry, technology, analytics, and healthcare trends and identify opportunities to continuously improve and transform pharmacy operations.
