Job summary

CEVA Logistics Solutions Singapore PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced professional to assist the Contract/Area Manager in overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring CEVA's business objectives and KPIs are met.

The role involves leading staff, planning resources, managing inventory, and ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and cost controls. Candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in business or supply chain management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations leadership.
• Strong planning, communication and people skills.
• Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and direct staff.
• Plan staff load, equipment, storage and daily tasks to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure adequate equipment for storage, loading and delivery of goods.
• Manage inventory, productivity, accuracy and loss prevention.
• Plan and manage P&L for the account to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Direct cost management to improve accuracy, safety and customer service.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and assist budget preparation.
• Implement safety, housekeeping and sanitation programs.
• Build, motivate and coach the operational team to meet objectives.
• Generate monthly performance data to meet customer requirements.
• Implement lean programs (5S, Kaizen) to achieve CEVA standards.

YOUR ROLE

• Assist theContract/AreaManager in overseeing the whole warehouse operations

• Responsible for ensuring CEVA business and operationalobjectivesand KPI are met

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Lead and direct staff in daily activities to ensure smooth and efficient running of overall operations

• Planning on staff load, equipment,storageand daily tasks to ensure adequate resources are consistently available to meet customer’s requirements

• Plans and assures adequate equipment for storage,loadingand delivery of goods

• Perform inventory management, productivity,accuracyand loss prevention programs to ensure that customers’ requirements are met

• Plan and manage the P&L for the respective account to ensure on time deliveries

• Direct activities to limit cost, improve accuracy, safety and to provide andmaintaingood customer service level

• Cost management, ensuretimelyandaccuratebillings aresubmittedmonthly and preparation of annual operating budget

• Implements safety, security,housekeepingand sanitation programs

• Build, motivate and coach operational team to ensure overall businessobjectivesare met

• Generate monthly performance data / reports to ensure that customers’ requirements are met

• Implement work improvement initiatives and programs such as 5S, Kaizens, LEAN and SCA program with the goal of achieving CEVA standards of Operational Excellence
