Job description

Operational Management

• Manage day-to-day operations, logistics, project scheduling, resource planning & allocation of manpower both internal & external.
• Work with other departments to harmonise on manpower allocation to minimise wastages and improve efficiency across the organisation where possible.
• Ensure deliverables are completed accurately, on time, within scope and within the allocated budget.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Manage, organise and schedule 3rd party contractors for AVL support, inclusive of AVL equipment and freelancers/casual labour.
• To continually source for vendors who will be able to provide better value, and to ensure business continuity.

Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and support staff.
• Build and drive a productive team which fosters a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide professional development opportunities.
• Provide constructive feedback in a timely manner that ensures staff development and productivity.
• Address team concerns promptly to maintain morale and productivity.

Customer Service

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery. And ensure Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) does not fall below 90.
• Handle/manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Collaborate with the internal and external teams to understand and deliver projects that matches our customer needs and expectations.

Inventory and Resource Management

• Oversee the management of inventory, including AV equipment and supplies within the venue.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced in a timely manner.
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed.

Financial Management

• Manage the operational budget given by the sales team, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Develop and monitor budgets, including staffing, equipment, transportation, and other operational costs/expenses.
• Analyze financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
• Identify revenue opportunities through service expansion, client partnerships, and pricing strategies.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Identify & lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
