Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced Operations leader to oversee logistics, production, and supply chain for a leading cleaning solutions distributor. You will manage warehouse operations, vehicle fleets, and manufacturing lines to ensure prompt distribution to airports, malls and hotels.

Collaborating with field technicians and service hotlines, you will drive safety standards (ISO 9001/14001/22000, bizSAFE) and optimize SOPs to meet the needs of Singapore’s major

• Hands-on leader with factory/warehouse oversight.
• Ability to lead multiple operational functions and stay connected to ground operations.
• Commercially minded with focus on P&L, cost, productivity and KPIs.
• Experience in Singapore SME environments with resource constraints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations and vehicle fleet to ensure prompt distribution.
• Manage daily production and high‑pressure jet production lines.
• Coordinate service department with field technicians and support lines.
• Uphold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000 and bizSAFE Star safety certifications.
• Refine SOPs to handle inventory demands of supplying major contractors in Singapore.

Job scope

Overseeing the logistics, production, and supply chain of Singapore's leading cleaning technology and chemical distributor

• Supply Chain & Logistics: Overseeing the warehouse operations and vehicle fleet to ensure prompt distribution to major hubs like Changi Airport, malls, and hotels.
• Manufacturing & Production: Managing the daily output of the chemical factory and high-pressure jet production lines.
• Service Department Coordination: Collaborating with field technicians and service hotlines to ensure timely machine repairs and customer technical support.
• Compliance & Safety: Upholding strict quality and workplace safety certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, and bizSAFE Star.
• Workflow Optimization: Refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to handle the inventory demands of supplying 98% of Singapore's major cleaning contractors.

Requirement

• Be very hands-on and comfortable walking the factory, warehouse and service operations regularly;
• Be able to lead and manage managers/team leaders, while still knowing what is happening on the ground;
• Have strong drive, energy and ownership - someone who sees problems and goes after them rather than waiting to be told;
• Have managed multiple operational functions , rather than being specialised only in warehouse, factory or logistics;
• Be commercially minded - comfortable with P&L, cost, productivity, margin and operational KPIs;
• Be able to improve processes and productivity with the existing team rather than immediately asking for more headcount;
• Ideally come from a Singapore SME environment , where he/she has had to operate with limited resources and personally get things done
